Village People - Village People were a novelty disco band of the late 1970s. The gay-themed group were as well known for their outrageous on-stage costumes (the members dressing up as a police officer, an American Indian chief, a construction worker, a soldier, a leatherman (biker), and a cowboy) as for their catchy tunes and suggestive lyrics.

Turbi Village massacre - The Turbi Village massacre was the killing of sixty people by fueding clans in the Marsabit district of northern Kenya on the early morning of 12 July 2005. Hundreds of armed raiders of the Borana tribe attacked the Gabra people living in the Turbi area, north west of Marsabit.

Let My People Come - Let My People Come was an off-Broadway musical which ran from January 8 1974 to July 5 1976 in New York City, at The Village Gate in Greenwich Village, with a linear debut in London. Described as a "sexual musical", it was produced and directed by Phil Oesterman.

Enets people - The Enets people (Russian: Энцы; singular: Энец), or Yenetses, Entsy, Entsi, Yenisei, Yenisei-Samoyed, Yenisey Samoyeds or Yeniseian people are a traditionally nomadic people who live on the east bank, near the mouth, of the Yenisei River, many in the village of Potapovo in the Taimyr Autonomous Territory, Taymyria of Krasnoyarsk Krai in western Siberia near the arctic circle. According to the latest census held in 2002, there are 237 Enets.

This English village has "solved" most of our American social problems. The village is not perfect, village people and some problems remain. But in many ways it stands as a lesson to us all. The village is safe. Women can walk at night. People are trusting. Conflict is kept down. The people are so tolerant that troublemakers, eccentrics, shy village people and awkward persons, are taken in village people and included in the social life. Children are well-behaved. The school trains them to be this way. Since the children can be counted on, they play a role in community life. The people are considerate of their neighbors, village people and they do what has to be done for the community. There is an intense caring about matters of civic concern. Citizen-groups are powerful because they can count on grass-roots support. The environment, village people and historic buildings, are protected by this citizen-vigilance. People take care of each other. The elderly, especially, are cared for by the village at large. Trades people take care of their customers. The doctors care for their patients. Medical care is virtually free. Death is handled in a humane manner. Basic to all this is: moral standards. The moral code is similar to our own. However, trust -- village people and the rest -- is as it is, because the people are at pains to do the right thing.

Homol'ovi: An Ancient Hopi Settlement Cluster by E. Charles Adams,

Beginning sometime in the thirteenth century, people from the Hopi Mesas established a cluster of villages to the south along the Little Colorado River, attracted by the river's resources village people and the region's ideal conditions for growing cotton. By the late 1300s, these Homol'ovi villages were the center of a robust trade in cotton among many clusters of villages near or on the southern Colorado Plateau village people and were involved in the beginning of katsina religion. Charles Adams has directed fifteen years of research at these sites for the Arizona State Museum, including excavations in five of the seven primary Homol'ovi villages village people and in other villages predating them. Through this research he concludes that the founders of these settlements were Hopis who sought to protect their territory from migrating groups elsewhere in the Pueblo world. This book summarizes that research village people and broadens our understanding of the relationship of Homol'ovi to ancient village people and modern Hopi people. Each Homol'ovi village had a unique history of establishment, growth, sociopolitical organization, length of occupation, village people and abandonment; village people and although the villages shared much in the way of material culture, their size village people and configuration were tremendously varied. By comparing Homol'ovi research to information from projects on other settlements in the area, Adams has been able to reconstruct a provocative history of the Homol'ovi cluster that includes relationships among the individual villages village people and their relationships to nearby clusters. He shows that social organization within villages is apparent by the number village people and variety of ritual structures, while political organization among villages is indicated by the need for Cooperationto share water for irrigation village people and by the exchange of such materials as pottery, obsidian, village people and ground stone.
